DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the fixed-lever counterpart to Accossato's 16x16 radial clutch master cylinder, keeping the same 16 mm piston and matching 16 mm pivot distance, and so the same softer, lighter lever action, but replacing the folding lever with a rigid, non-folding blade. The lever is black with a relieving eyelet, and the body is finished in natural anodised aluminium, the same as the folding version sold alongside it. Riders who have already settled on the softer 16x16 setup, and simply prefer a one-piece lever over a hinged one, are the obvious audience for this variant.
Key Features
- 16 mm piston diameter paired with a matching 16 mm pivot distance
- Softer lever action, with a gentler pull and a longer stroke
- Fixed, non-folding lever in black, with relieving eyelet (RST)
- CNC-machined aluminium body with natural anodising
- Offset riser that reduces master cylinder deflection during gear changes
- Passive lever stroke cut by more than 50 percent compared with a standard radial master cylinder
- Stainless steel mounting screws and a galvanised steel bleed valve
- Seals manufactured from Formula 1 compound material
Construction and Material Quality
The materials on this fixed-lever 16x16 clutch pump match its folding-lever sibling exactly: aluminium machined in Italy and natural anodised, stainless mounting screws, a galvanised bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals, with only the lever itself swapped for a rigid black blade in place of the hinged design. The offset riser in the clamp still limits deflection of the body under load, and the bore keeps the passive lever travel cut by more than half compared with a standard radial clutch pump.
Choosing a Fixed Lever on the Softer Pivot Setting
Everything about how this master cylinder behaves comes from matching the pivot distance to the piston diameter at 16 mm each, the softer setup in Accossato's clutch range that trades a slightly longer lever stroke for a noticeably lighter pull. Choosing the fixed lever over the folding one changes nothing about that balance; it simply swaps a hinged blade for a one-piece lever, a preference some riders have regardless of which pivot and piston combination sits underneath it, and one that comes down to feel rather than performance.
Fitment and Compatibility
Fifty-one motorcycles from BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki are confirmed for this clutch master cylinder in our data, among them the Suzuki GSX-S750 (2017-2017), Kawasaki W800 (2011-2018), BMW G310GS (2017-2020), Suzuki SFV650 Gladius (2009-2015) and BMW R1200RS (2015-2016). A breakdown with exact production years for every model is published in the Fitment tab on this page; weigh it against your own registration before buying.
Road Approval
This clutch master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The package includes the Accossato 16x16 radial clutch master cylinder fitted with the fixed lever and relieving eyelet (RST) in black, finished in natural anodised aluminium. Stainless steel mounting screws, the galvanised steel bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals are assembled on the unit. The brake light switch, available separately as ID001 or ID002, and the fluid reservoir are not included and must be purchased separately.
