Swapping in a radial caliper such as the PZ004 in blue coated finish means checking more than the caliper alone: the disc diameter, the brake line and the master cylinder all need to suit a radial setup before the new caliper bolts on cleanly. This caliper carries a 108 mm centre distance and a 22.5 mm offset, four aluminium pistons sized at 34 mm and a dust seal fitted as standard, with AGPA134 pads already installed. The blue coating sits on the same body used across every PZ004 finish Accossato sells.

Construction and Material Quality
Production starts with a forging, shaped afterwards on five-axis CNC machinery and verified on three-dimensional measuring gear, a sequence Accossato runs for the whole PZ004 line before any paint or anodising goes on. A hard oxidation treatment comes next, and only then is the blue coating applied over the top. The bore carries four 34 mm aluminium pistons sealed by a dust seal, and the AGPA134 pads come pre-installed rather than sold as a later extra.
What Else Needs Checking Before Fitting
A radial caliper pulls on the master cylinder differently to the axial calipers found on many stock bikes, so the master cylinder bore and lever ratio may need matching to the new setup rather than reused as is. The disc itself has to suit a caliper built around this mounting geometry, and the brake line needs the right banjo fitting and length to reach the new position without strain. The finish on the caliper plays no part here; every colour Accossato sells for the PZ004 shares the same mounting geometry and needs the same checks around the disc, line and master cylinder.
Fitment and Compatibility
Our garage carries 76 motorcycles against which this caliper is listed, see the Fitment tab, a group that takes in the Kawasaki GTR1400, the Honda CB1000R RA and the Honda CBR600RR. Accossato's own records for the PZ004 run to 120 fitment entries, each matched to a particular model year rather than a whole platform, which is why the tab itself is the surer check than a general model name. Should a bike not appear on it, the mounting geometry, 108 mm between bolt centres and a 22.5 mm offset, is what to measure against the disc and mount already on the bike.
Road Approval
No ABE is documented for this caliper in Germany, so fitting it to a road-registered bike needs registering with the responsible authority before the bike is used on public roads. Because the brake system is safety-relevant, a qualified workshop should carry out the fitting.
