Hard oxidation covers the PZ012 in the same track-oriented finish used on its 100 mm sibling, the PZ011, though the two calipers are built to different mounting dimensions. The PZ012 keeps a 108 mm centre distance and 22.5 mm offset, with a 34 mm and a 38 mm aluminium piston, a dust seal and a pair of AGPA96 pads fitted from the factory. Six other oxidised colours are available as separate listings on the same caliper.

Construction and Material Quality
Like the PZ011, the PZ012 is machined in two separate billet sections on five-axis CNC equipment and joined into a finished caliper rather than forged as one piece, a construction Accossato links to a smaller overall unit than a monobloc design. The two aluminium pistons, 34 mm and 38 mm in diameter, the dust seal and the AGPA96 pads are fitted during assembly, and the hard oxidation layer is applied once the body has passed its three-dimensional measurement checks.
The 108 mm Version of the Two-Piece Caliper
Where the PZ012 differs from the PZ011 is in its 108 mm centre distance and 22.5 mm offset, against 100 mm and 30 mm on the PZ011, dimensions that place it against a different group of forks and discs even though the pistons, pads and finish options are identical between the two. Because of this, the PZ012 cannot simply be substituted for a PZ011 on the same bike, and the two calipers are listed against largely different sets of motorcycles in the Fitment tab, reflecting which production bikes use which radial mounting pattern rather than any difference in the caliper's pistons or pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the PZ012 for 72 models in our garage, see the Fitment tab, among them the Honda CBR600RR, CBR1000RR-R SP, Kawasaki Ninja1000SX, CMX1100 Rebel and the CFMOTO MT-X 800, with 111 fitment lines recorded. A bike not covered by that list should have its 108 mm centre distance and 22.5 mm offset checked against the fork and disc already fitted before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato has not obtained ABE documentation for the PZ012, so fitting it in place of the original caliper on a road-registered motorcycle needs to be cleared with a registration authority beforehand. The brake system is safety-relevant, so a qualified workshop should carry out the fitting.
