The MY008 brings the two-tone GR006 grip to Accossato's quick throttle control for the Kawasaki ZX-6R (2005–2016). GR006's two-colour finish is sold in five combinations, apart from the eight cap colours available on the anodised housing. The housing is machined in two aluminium halves as usual, and the kit includes the ZX004 cable set for this generation of ZX-6R along with three internal cams of 40, 43 and 45 mm.

Construction and Material Quality
As with the other grip options for this housing, the two aluminium halves are CNC-worked and anodised in a choice of eight cap colours. The GR006 grip fitted to the MY008 adds its own two-tone finish on top of that, picked separately from five combinations. Inside the housing, three cams of 40, 43 and 45 mm sit ready to be swapped, changing the throttle's pick-up and the distance the grip turns through without touching any other part of the kit, which keeps the job to a single housing cover rather than a full strip-down.
Refreshing an Older Bike's Cockpit
A ZX-6R from this generation is old enough now that a two-tone grip stands out against a cockpit that has otherwise aged with the bike, giving the controls a current look without a full repaint, and leaving the rest of the bodywork as it is. Because the GR006 grip and ZX004 cable set are sold as one kit, that refresh also resolves whatever state the stock throttle cable is in after years of use, rather than leaving a new grip on an old, stretched cable that would undo much of the benefit of the quicker throttle action.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is built for the Kawasaki ZX-6R (2005–2016), with the ZX004 cable set cut to that generation's routing; exact production years are shown in the Fitment tab on this page. The ZX004 cables do not interchange with the set listed for the current ZX-6R model, so the model year on the registration document is worth checking before ordering a replacement set.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY008; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. As with any throttle control, make sure the grip returns on its own to the idle position once fitted.
