For the later Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2016–2020), Accossato's quick throttle control is offered here as the MY002 kit with the GR001 one-tone grip. Grip and cap share the same eight-colour anodised range, so the control can be ordered in a single matching shade. The two-piece aluminium housing is CNC-machined as usual, and the kit comes with the ZX012 cable set built for this generation plus three internal cams of 40, 43 and 45 mm.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato cuts the housing from two aluminium halves and anodises it across eight cap colours; the GR001 grip fitted here draws on the same range, so a single-colour build is possible across both parts. Inside sit the three familiar cams of 40, 43 and 45 mm, the part that actually changes throttle response rather than appearance, and these can be swapped without disturbing the cable set once it is routed and fitted. None of the three needs to be ordered separately; all are boxed with the kit from the start.
Two Model Names, One Front End
Kawasaki sold the ZX-10 R from 2016 and added the shorter-run ZX-10 RR alongside it in 2017, a version built to qualify a higher-revving engine for racing use; the two share enough of their cockpit and cable routing that Accossato covers both with the ZX012 cable set rather than listing a separate part for the RR. A rider upgrading from an R to an RR, or buying a used bike without being certain which badge it carries, can treat this listing as correct for either.
Fitment and Compatibility
Production years for the ZX-10 R are confirmed in the Fitment tab on this page; where the frame carries the RR badge instead, the identical ZX012 cable set still applies, so checking the model name on the registration document is enough to confirm fitment without needing a different part number or contacting support to be sure, and the Fitment tab lists both model names side by side for that reason.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY002; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. As with any throttle control, make sure the grip returns on its own to the idle position once fitted.
