The MY001 pairs Accossato's quick throttle body, two CNC-machined aluminium half-rings anodised for colour, with its one-tone GR001 racing grip, sold without cables so the throttle can be matched to Accossato's own CU001 double-cable set rather than forcing one cable length on every buyer. Three internal cams, 40, 43 and 45 mm, are supplied with the kit to adjust how quickly the throttle opens for a given twist. The grip comes in seven colours and the cap in eight, including titanium, independently of each other.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds the MY001's body from two half-rings, CNC-machined from aluminium and anodised rather than painted, which is how the body takes its colour and keeps it under repeated use. The GR001 grip fitted to this version is a one-tone racing grip, available in seven colours independently of the eight cap colours, including titanium, so the two can be mixed rather than sold as a fixed set. Inside the body, three cams of different diameters, 40, 43 and 45 mm, let the stroke of the throttle be changed by swapping which one is fitted.
Cables Sold Separately, By Design
Where Accossato's BMW-specific throttle controls use the motorcycle's own original cables, the MY001 is built to work only with Accossato's own cable set, referenced as the CU001 and covering this throttle control along with several other models in the double-cable MY001-MY009 range. Selling the throttle control without cables keeps one body usable across that whole range rather than needing a separate cable length baked into each listing, at the cost of an extra part to order alongside it.
Fitment and Compatibility
The MY001 is a universal quick throttle control rather than one built for a single named motorcycle; Accossato does not list a specific fitment for it. Fitting it means first confirming the handlebar takes a standard throttle-side clamp, then ordering the matching Accossato CU001 cable set separately, since the kit itself is supplied without cables. Riders should also check that the three supplied cams are swapped to whichever stroke, 40, 43 or 45 mm, suits their riding before heading out. Which motorcycles it is matched to here follows one rule: sporty road models whose throttle is still pulled by a cable. Grips with a built-in sensor and no cable at all are excluded; the Fitment tab lists what remains.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY001; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. The throttle must return to the idle position on its own as soon as the grip is released; check this after fitting, before riding.
