DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's PS012 brings three extra buttons to the left-hand side of the bars on this model, clamped on rather than built into the factory clutch master cylinder, so the switches sit close to the left grip without disturbing the hydraulics on that side of the bike.
Key Features
- Plug & Play Accossato switch panel for the Ducati Panigale 1199 (2013–2017)
- 3 buttons, left-hand side
- Top button monostable, blue
- Middle button monostable, black
- Bottom button monostable, white
- CNC-machined aluminium, black anodised finish
- Supplied with a handlebar clamp for mounting
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the PS012 against the Panigale 1199 produced from 2013 to 2017, the base version of the model without the S or R suffix. Owners wanting a two-button left-hand alternative, or a five-button option with more switches in the same position, can look at the PS013 or the PS014, which Accossato also fits to this motorcycle; the fitment tab on this listing lays out the exact version each panel covers.
Mounting on the Handlebar
Rather than taking the place of a factory bracket on the master cylinder, the PS012 clamps around the handlebar itself, next to the left grip. The supplied clamp wraps the bar and holds the panel in a fixed position that the rider sets once during installation, leaving the clutch master cylinder and its original mount untouched. All three buttons on this panel are monostable, meaning each one is a simple press-and-release switch rather than one that holds a toggled state; the blue, black and white colours mark the three positions so they can be told apart by feel while riding gloved.
Road Approval
Accossato has not published an ABE or Teilegutachten for the PS012, and none is held on file at Inter-Pace. Adding switchgear to the handlebar on a bike ridden on public roads is a change worth clearing with a testing authority or qualified workshop beforehand, since it affects equipment relevant to road use. Accossato sells the part in its Racing range, aimed first at track and closed-course riding.
Scope of Delivery
The PS012 ships with its three buttons and cable fitted, plus the handlebar clamp needed to mount it. Wiring the buttons into the bike's switchgear or any aftermarket control unit is left to the installer.
