DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad fits the Zero S across two separate periods: the model years 2014 to 2017 and then again 2024, with no listing for the years in between. This is the Organic (OR) version. On a naked electric bike used around town, the rear brake is in use constantly, steadying the S at low speed and holding it at lights. The organic mix is chosen for a smooth, quiet response and for its kindness to the disc.
Key Features
- AGPP91 rear pads for the Zero S 2014-2017 and 2024
- No Accossato listing for 2018 to 2023
- Organic (OR) compound
- Longer performance, reduced disc wear, per Accossato
- Smooth pedal feel for slow riding
- Other compounds for this pad: ST, STMX
- Two pads for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
The organic mixture, in Accossato's words, gives longer performance and limits disc wear. On the rear of an everyday electric bike, where the brake is used often but gently, that adds up to a long service life for both pad and disc. The compound works in moderate temperatures and does not need warming up, which suits short trips and cold mornings.
Low-Speed Balance in Traffic
Queues at rush hour are where a naked commuter like the Zero S spends a surprising share of its life. Holding a straight line at walking pace becomes much easier when the right foot rests lightly on the rear pedal, trimming speed while the motor pulls gently. An organic rear pad lets you do this without a jerk, and it does so silently, which matters on a machine whose drivetrain is almost inaudible. The very same habit pays off on a steep garage ramp or when turning around in a narrow lane. Inspect the pad material now and then, because many tiny applications still add up over a year of commuting.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP91 for the rear caliper of the Zero S in many versions: ZF8.5 and ZF11.4 from 2014, ZF9.4 and ZF12.5 from 2015, ZF9.8 and ZF13.0 from 2016 and 2017, and ZF14.0 from 2024. Model years 2018 to 2023 are not in the listing, so owners of those bikes should check the fitment elsewhere. At the front, the S uses AGPA92 (2015 to 2017) or AGPA96 (2024). Replace both rear pads together and bed them in gently.
Road Approval
We have no approval papers or German ABE for this rear pad, so it is listed for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two organic rear pads for one caliper.
