The rear brake of a Yamaha Tracer 900 GT rarely stops the bike on its own, but it does a lot of quiet work: holding the machine steady in a slow U-turn, settling the chassis before a bend, keeping a loaded bike calm at walking pace. Accossato lists its AGPP88 rear pad for the Tracer 900 GT from 2018 to 2024, and this is the Organic (OR) version. It is for riders who value smooth, easily dosed rear braking in everyday riding and want the rear disc to last.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's claim for the Organic compound is simple: it keeps performing for a long time and it limits wear on the disc. On a rear brake, which is often dragged lightly for control rather than applied hard, that disc-friendly nature is useful. Accossato, now based in Villastellone near Turin, also aims its pads at low wear, reduced fade and strong stopping power in general.
Slow-Speed Control
Riders who learn slow manoeuvres on a big tourer are taught to use a touch of rear brake against a little throttle. On the Tracer 900 GT that technique turns tight car-park turns and walking-pace traffic into something calm rather than wobbly. An organic rear pad is ideal for this, because it lets the pedal be feathered without a sudden grab. In town it also stays quiet, and it does not need to be warm before it responds. For a rider who uses the rear mostly as a control tool, this is the natural choice among the two compounds offered for AGPP88; the alternative is ST, which leans towards wet and loaded riding.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP88 for the Tracer 900 GT of 2018 to 2024; the front pad for the same bike is AGPA97. The rear uses a single caliper, so one box covers it. When changing the pads, clean the caliper pistons before pressing them back, check the disc for wear and scoring, and look at the rear fluid reservoir. Pump the pedal until it feels firm before riding off, then bed the pads in gradually with gentle applications.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test mark is available to us for this rear pad, which is offered for racing and competition use.
