DescriptionThe whole story▼
At the back of the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, built from 2022 to 2025, Accossato lists rear pad AGPP89, and this is the Organic (OR) compound. On a light, approachable bike that many riders use for commuting and learning their craft, a soft rear brake is a real help: it steadies the bike at walking pace, makes U-turns easier and brings the bike to a smooth stop at junctions. OR delivers that softness and treats the rear disc gently.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) rear pad AGPP89
- For the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, 2022 to 2025
- Accossato: durable performance, gentle on the disc
- Soft pedal for slow-speed control
- Quiet in town
- Two pads in the box for the rear caliper
- Also made as ST
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes Organic as a compound that keeps its performance over a long period and limits disc wear. For the rear of a daily middleweight, that is exactly the right emphasis. The Italian company also mentions slow wear, fade resistance through controlled heat and a strong stop as general qualities of its pads.
Slow-Speed Skills
Many riders of the Tiger Sport 660 are building experience, and slow-speed control is one of the skills that matters most in everyday riding. Riding instructors often teach the use of a little rear brake with a slipping clutch for tight turns and slow traffic. A rear pad that feeds in gently makes that technique easier to learn and more relaxing to use. Organic pads also run quietly and are kind to the disc. For regular touring with a passenger in bad weather, the ST version of AGPP89 is designed for that job. The rear pad on a bike of this kind often lasts a long time, which makes it easy to forget; a glance through the caliper at every tyre-pressure check keeps it from wearing down to the backing unnoticed.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP89 for the rear of the Tiger Sport 660 from 2022 to 2025. The front pad for this bike is AGPA72. When changing the rear pads, clean the piston before pushing it back, check disc and fluid, and pump the pedal until firm. Bed the pads in with a few gentle stops before normal riding.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test mark for AGPP89OR is in our records. It is sold for racing and competition use.
