DescriptionThe whole story▼
For shorter riders on the Triumph Tiger 1200 XRX Low, the rear brake plays a central role when coming to a stop: it lets you slow the last few metres smoothly and put a foot down with the bike perfectly balanced. Accossato lists its rear pad AGPA76 for the XRX Low from 2018 to 2020, and AGPA76OR is the Organic version. It offers a soft, predictable engagement, quiet operation and gentle treatment of the rear disc.

Construction and Material Quality
Two things define the Organic mixture in Accossato's own account: it goes on working for a long time, and it is easy on the disc it rubs against. For a rear brake on an XRX Low that is touched dozens of times on every short ride, those two properties are what keep the running costs modest. Heat control and resistance to fading, which Accossato aims for across its range, come on top.
The Last Few Metres
Stopping smoothly is about the final moments. Many riders use the rear brake alone for the last metres before a stop, because it does not dip the front and keeps the bike level. On a big adventure bike, that makes putting a foot down easier and more controlled. A rear pad that engages softly and predictably helps with this. The Organic compound is designed for exactly that kind of gentle, frequent use, and it works well from cold on short trips. For a rider who is still building trust in a tall, heavy machine, a rear brake that never snatches makes every junction and every car park a little less stressful.
Regular Checks
Check the rear pads and disc at each service, and keep the caliper clean so the pads can move freely.
Fitment and Compatibility
This rear pad is catalogued by Accossato for the XRX Low version of the Tiger 1200, covering 2018, 2019 and 2020; the front of the same bike takes AGPA177. Inside are two pads, which is the complete set for the one rear caliper. Once they are in, work the pedal until it stands firm, then ride gently for a while so the new surfaces can settle against the disc.
Road Approval
We have no ABE and no test mark for AGPA76OR. It is listed for competition use.
