DescriptionThe whole story▼
On the Triumph Thunderbird Storm, the rear brake is a big part of everyday control: holding the bike at a junction on a hill, steadying it during a slow U-turn, and easing it into a parking space. Accossato lists its rear pad AGPA92 for the Storm from 2011 to 2018, and AGPA92OR is the Organic version. It is designed for smooth, quiet operation, and for making the rear disc last.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Organic compound keeps its performance for a long time while limiting wear on the disc. For a rear brake that is used frequently and gently, that makes it a practical, economical choice. The maker's other design aims include controlled heat and strong stopping.
Slow Manoeuvres on a Heavy Bike
Turning a big cruiser around in a narrow street takes a steady hand and a steady foot. Many riders keep a light pressure on the rear brake while feeding in the throttle, which keeps the bike stable at walking pace. That technique needs a rear pad that engages smoothly and predictably. The Organic compound is designed for that. It is also a good choice for riders taking lessons on a large cruiser or returning to riding after a break. Because it is quiet and progressive, it also fits the relaxed rhythm of a Storm ridden across town in the evening, when smooth, unhurried inputs matter more than stopping hard.
Keeping It Quiet
Clean the rear caliper when changing pads, check that the pads move freely and keep lubricants and polish away from the disc.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's catalogue shows AGPA92 on the rear of the Thunderbird Storm for every model year from 2011 to 2018. The front brake takes AGPA58 over the same range. The box holds two pads for the single rear caliper. After fitting, press the pedal until it is firm, then bed in the pads with gentle stops.
Road Approval
AGPA92OR comes without a German ABE or a test mark, so we list it for competition use.
