Riders of the Triumph Speed Triple 1050 tend to talk about the engine and the front brakes, and seldom about the rear. Yet the rear caliper does steady, quiet work on every ride: slowing the bike at a junction, holding it on a slope, keeping it composed while the front brakes are applied. Accossato lists the AGPA76 rear pad for the Speed Triple 1050 across 2005 to 2017, and this box contains it in the Organic (OR) compound, suited to everyday riding and gentle on the rear disc.

Construction and Material Quality
OR is the organic version of the AGPA76, which Accossato makes in two compounds. The manufacturer describes performance that lasts and a reduced rate of disc wear. For a rear brake that mostly makes light, frequent applications, those are useful traits, and the organic compound responds well without needing heat, so it works predictably on short journeys and cold mornings alike.
The Quiet Helper
On a naked triple with plenty of engine braking, the rear brake is rarely used hard. It is more a tool for fine control: settling the bike before a corner, smoothing a stop at traffic lights, holding position in a queue on a hill. A soft, progressive organic pad suits that role on the Speed Triple 1050. When changing pads, clean the caliper pistons before pushing them back, make sure the pads move freely on their guides, and pump the pedal afterwards until it feels firm. Check the rear disc for grooves while the caliper is off.
Fitment and Compatibility
According to Accossato, the AGPA76 fits the rear of the Triumph Speed Triple 1050 from 2005 to 2017, and the same list names the older T509 900 Speed Triple from 1997 to 2001. One box covers the single rear caliper. For the front, Accossato lists the AGPA112 for the 2008 to 2015 Speed Triple 1050, and the DK132 disc is catalogued for this model. The AGPA76 is also available in Sintered.
Road Approval
