DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a Triumph Bonneville T100 the rear brake does a quiet but important job: steadying the bike at walking pace, holding it on a hill and adding a little stability when you slow down on a bend. Accossato's AGPA76 rear pad in the Organic compound is made for exactly that everyday role. It suits riders who ride through town, filter through traffic and use the rear brake gently and often.
Key Features
- Rear pad set AGPA76 for Triumph Bonneville T100
- Fits T100 bikes from 2002 to 2023, according to Accossato
- Organic compound, SKU AGPA76OR
- Accossato: long life and low disc wear
- Gentle bite for low-speed control
- Quiet when used in slow traffic
- Also offered with the ST compound
- No German test paperwork, competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says its Organic mixture keeps performing for a long time and limits disc wear. At the rear of a T100, where the brake is used with a light foot, that is exactly what you want. A soft initial response makes it easy to dose the pressure when you are turning at a junction, and the disc should outlast several sets of pads.
Low-Speed Control in Town
Slow manoeuvres are where the rear brake earns its keep. Riding a Bonneville T100 through a car park, a narrow village or a queue of traffic, a light touch on the pedal keeps the bike stable without upsetting the front. An organic pad makes that touch progressive and predictable. It is also quiet, which suits a classic twin. For riders who use their T100 as daily transport, this is the logical rear compound.
Keeping the Rear Brake Healthy
Rear calipers sit close to the road and collect grime. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, check the disc for wear and replace old fluid. After the job, press the pedal until it is firm again and bed the new pads in gently.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA76 for the rear of the Bonneville T100 from 2002 to 2023. The versions named are the 800 T100 from 2002 to 2004, the 800 T100 from 2006 to 2008 and the 900 T100 from 2005 to 2023. Note that the list starts in 2002, not 2001, so owners of very early T100 bikes should check before ordering. The front pad for the same bike is AGPA72.
Road Approval
Our records contain no ABE or other German test document for AGPA76OR. It is sold for competition use.
