DescriptionThe whole story▼
Many Suzuki GSX-S1000 Katana owners enjoy the bike in its natural setting: a relaxed ride into town, a stop outside a café, a slow roll along the seafront. In those moments the rear brake does a lot of the fine work. AGPP88 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's rear pad for the Katana from 2019 to 2026, a gentle and quiet option for everyday riding, low-speed control and a long life for the rear disc.
Key Features
- Rear pads for the Suzuki GSX-S1000 Katana, 2019 to 2026

- Long-lasting and easy on the disc, says Accossato
- For relaxed town riding and café runs
- Smooth at walking pace
- Front pad AGPA106 and disc DK251 listed
- One rear caliper, one box
- No German approval; offered for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's summary of Organic is that it performs for longer and reduces wear on the disc. On the rear of a Katana, which is used lightly but often, that is a practical trade. Accossato also mentions that its pads keep heat under control so fade stays small, and that they deliver solid stopping.
Slow Riding on a Showpiece
Rolling a Katana into a tight parking spot, easing along a busy promenade or turning in a narrow street all rely on a light touch of the rear brake while the clutch slips. An organic pad responds progressively at those speeds and tends to stay quiet, which suits a bike that is often ridden among pedestrians. Keep the rear disc clean when you lube the chain, look at the pad material during routine checks, and make sure the fluid in the rear reservoir is at the right level. After fitting new pads, pump the pedal until it is firm and bed them in with a few calm stops. A rear brake that grabs or squeals spoils the relaxed character of the Katana, so a smooth, gentle compound suits the way most owners actually use the bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP88 for the GSX-S 1000 Katana from 2019 to 2026. There is a single rear caliper, so one box is a complete set. AGPA106 is the front pad for the model, and DK251 is the listed disc. The rear pad is also available as Sintered.
Road Approval
We do not have an ABE or German test document for AGPP88OR, and therefore list it for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
