DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's Organic rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Stone from 2015 to 2016 are meant for the everyday owner. On a bike that spends much of its time in traffic, the rear brake is used lightly and often, to steady the chassis at low speed and to hold position on a hill. This compound keeps that work smooth and quiet while going easy on the disc.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Stone
- Model years 2015 to 2016
- Accossato: lasting performance and limited disc wear
- Smooth pedal feel for slow-speed manoeuvres
- Two pads for the rear caliper
- Front pad AGPA96 listed for the same model
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Organic compound keeps working for a long time and reduces wear on the disc. For a V7 II Stone rear brake that sees daily commutes and parking manoeuvres, that promise means you will not be replacing pads every few months, and the rotor stays in good shape. The compound is designed to warm gently and resist fade.
Slow-Speed Control in Town
U-turns in a narrow street, rolling up to a junction on a slope or crawling through a car park all rely on a delicate touch at the rear pedal. An Organic pad has a softer initial bite that helps here, letting you trim speed without locking the wheel or unsettling the bike. It also tends to run quietly. When you replace the pads, check the rear disc for grooves, clean the caliper and pump the pedal several times before the first ride. A Stone that is ridden like this every day deserves a quick look at the pads every few weeks, since urban use wears them unevenly when the pedal is dragged at walking pace.
Fitment and Compatibility
Rear fitment for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Stone, 2015 to 2016, including the V7 II Stone ABS 750 in our garage. The V7 II 750 Stone appears in Accossato's catalogue with a longer year span; this item is listed for 2015 to 2016. There is also an ST version of this rear pad. For the front brake Accossato lists pad AGPA96, and disc DKS032 is listed for the bike.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or test certificate for these pads available to us, so they are sold for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
