DescriptionThe whole story▼
The rear brake on a Moto Guzzi V7 II Special does quiet, steady work: settling the bike before a bend, holding it on a slope, trimming speed in slow traffic. These Accossato rear pads in the Organic compound suit that role. They fit the rear caliper of the V7 II Special from 2015 to 2016 and are meant for riders who spend most of their time in town, on commuter routes or on relaxed weekend rides.
Key Features
- Rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Special, 2015 to 2016
- Organic (OR) compound for smooth, low-speed control
- Accossato: longer life and less wear on the disc
- Easy to modulate when filtering or parking
- Two pads in the box for the rear caliper
- Accossato front pad AGPA96 listed for the same bike
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's words, the Organic compound delivers performance that lasts and limits wear on the rotor. At the rear of a V7 II Special, where the pedal is often used lightly and repeatedly, that means a pad that keeps its behaviour for many months and a disc that stays smooth. The compound is designed to warm gently and to fade little, so even a long, slow descent does not change the feel under your boot.
Using the Rear Brake Well
Many riders underuse the rear brake, yet on a shaft-driven twin like the V7 II Special it is a valuable tool. A light touch before tipping into a roundabout calms the chassis, and on a steep driveway it holds the bike while your feet find the ground. An Organic pad makes these small inputs easier, because the response is soft at first and builds evenly. When changing the pads, clean the caliper, push the piston back carefully and pump the pedal until it is firm again before you ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Rear fitment for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Special, 2015 to 2016, listed by Accossato as V7 II 750 Special, and for the V7 II Special ABS 750 in our garage. The rear pad is also offered as ST. At the front, Accossato lists pad AGPA96 for this bike, and the DKS032 disc is also listed for this model.
Road Approval
We cannot provide a German ABE or any test report for these pads, which is why they are offered for racing and competition use.
