DescriptionThe whole story▼
High-mileage riders know that a rear pad wears quietly in the background until one day it is gone. On the KTM 390 Adventure SW of 2023, Accossato lists the AGPP91 rear pad, and this listing is the Organic compound. It is aimed at riders who cover long distances on tarmac and easy gravel, who want the rear disc to last and the pedal to feel soft and predictable, and who would rather change pads less often.
Key Features
- AGPP91 rear pads for the KTM 390 Adventure SW, model year 2023
- Organic compound, SKU AGPP91OR
- Accossato claims long life and minimal disc wear
- Gentle pedal response for relaxed riding
- Quiet on tarmac and gravel
- Sister compounds: ST and STMX
- No German ABE; competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato puts the Organic rear pad in plain terms: it keeps working for longer and treats the disc gently. For a 390 Adventure SW that covers many kilometres in a season, that reduces the frequency of service work. The lining is bonded to the AGPP91 plate, and the rear caliper is left untouched.
Kilometres Add Up
On a long ride, the rear brake is used hundreds of times: at junctions, in villages, on gentle descents. Each application is small, but together they wear the pads and disc. A compound designed for long life and low disc wear spreads that wear over more distance. The soft, progressive bite also makes the rear pleasant to use on easy gravel roads, where a gentle touch slows the spoked-wheel SW without making the rear tyre slide. Riders planning a long summer journey often fit a fresh rear set before leaving, so the pads see the whole trip through without a roadside change.
Look at the rear lining whenever you check the chain, since both are near each other. When replacing pads, clean the piston before pushing it back and pump the pedal until firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPP91 for the rear of the Adventure 390 SW, 2023. At the front, the Accossato pad listed for the same year is AGPA184. We have no Accossato disc on record for this bike. Compare the old pads with the new ones before fitting.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or approval certificate for AGPP91OR; it is offered for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
