DescriptionThe whole story▼
Luxury naked bikes are often used for relaxed riding as much as for fast runs, and the Kawasaki Z H2 SE is no exception. Accossato's AGPP88 rear pad in the Organic mixture is catalogued for the Z H2 SE with the years 2020 to 2026. It is intended for owners who ride through town, along scenic roads and to weekend meeting points, and who want the rear brake to take up gently and quietly while wearing the disc as little as possible.
Key Features
- AGPP88 rear pads for the Kawasaki Z H2 SE, catalogue years 2020 to 2026
- Organic mixture, article AGPP88OR
- Accossato: long-lasting performance with low disc wear
- Soft, even response at the pedal
- Quiet on relaxed rides
- Comfortable in stop-and-go traffic
- Also sold on this plate as ST
- No German approval documents; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's case for this mixture rests on endurance and on sparing the disc. The rear brake of a road bike is pressed often but seldom hard, so gentle treatment of the rotor adds up over the years. Accossato also states that its pads avoid running hot, which limits fade, and that they still brake with conviction. The Organic material is bonded to the AGPP88 plate.
Cruising Mode
Not every ride on a Z H2 SE is about acceleration. Many are gentle loops through the countryside or slow rides through town to a café, where the rider uses the rear brake to smooth speed changes and to stabilise the bike at walking pace. An Organic pad with a gradual take-up suits these rides and keeps noise to a minimum.
Check the rear pad whenever the chain is serviced, keep chain lube off the disc and clean the pistons before pushing them back during a pad change. Press the pedal repeatedly afterwards until it firms up.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP88 for the rear of the Z 1000 H2 SE and gives 2020 to 2026 as the years; in our garage this is the Kawasaki Z H2 SE. The front pad AGPA106 is catalogued from 2021. No disc appears for this model. One box equips the rear caliper; compare the outline with your old pads before fitting.
Road Approval
AGPP88OR has not been issued with an ABE or approval mark as far as our records go, so it is supplied for competition.
Scope of Delivery
One set of two Organic rear pads.
