With its strong engine braking, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 needs only a light touch on the rear brake in daily riding: easing into a junction, holding the bike on a slope, smoothing a slow corner. For that gentle, frequent use Accossato offers the rear pad AGPP91 in its Organic compound, SKU AGPP91OR, listed for model years 2019 to 2020. It suits owners who ride the big single to work, into town and on relaxed weekend loops, and who like a soft pedal and a quiet brake.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato keeps its claim for the Organic mixture short: longer performance and restrained disc wear. At the rear of a Svartpilen 701 used as an everyday bike, that makes sense, because the pad is touched often and lightly, and a gentle compound helps the rotor stay smooth. The friction layer is bonded to the AGPP91 plate and slides into the caliper just like the original.
Low Speed, Light Touch
A tall single with plenty of torque can feel lively at walking pace. Using the rear brake lightly while holding a little throttle calms it down, especially in tight car parks or when turning round in a narrow lane. The Organic face gives the Svartpilen 701 a soft, progressive pedal for exactly this, without any sudden grab. Its quiet operation is a small but welcome detail in built-up areas.
Always clean the piston before pushing it back into the caliper, and press the pedal several times after fitting until it firms up.
Fitment and Compatibility
In our fitment data, AGPP91 covers the rear of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 for 2019 and 2020; Accossato's own entry begins in 2018. No rear pad is listed for the 2021 model year. The front brake takes AGPA96, and the disc DK209 is available as well. Compare the old pads with this set before fitting it to your Svartpilen 701.
