DescriptionThe whole story▼
On the Husqvarna Supermoto 701 the rear brake is often used lightly in town: to steady the bike at low speed, to hold it on a slope at the lights, or to trim speed before a roundabout. This rear set, Accossato AGPP91 in the Organic mixture, fits the Supermoto 701 from 2015 to 2024. It is aimed at riders who use the bike mostly for daily journeys and short trips, want a quiet, smooth rear pedal and prefer to preserve the rear disc.
Key Features
- AGPP91OR rear pads for the Husqvarna Supermoto 701
- Model years 2015 to 2024
- Organic compound that Accossato says lasts long and spares the disc
- Soft, progressive rear pedal feel
- Suited to city riding, commuting and short trips
- Quiet in everyday use
- This rear pad is also sold as ST and STMX
- No ABE with us; sold for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's Organic compound is described as long-lasting and easy on the disc. At the rear of a Supermoto 701 used in town, where the pedal is pressed lightly and often, that means fewer pad changes and less wear on the rotor. The face is bonded to the AGPP91 plate listed for this bike's rear caliper. Accossato also cites strong stopping power along with limited heat and resistance to fade.
Low-Speed Control in Traffic
A light supermoto can be very lively at walking pace, and many riders use a gentle touch of rear brake to keep it stable while filtering or making tight turns. A pedal that responds softly and in proportion to pressure makes that technique easy. The Organic face gives the Supermoto 701 this calm character, so the rear can be used for fine control in traffic without the risk of a sudden lock-up on a dusty junction.
Check the rear pads every time you adjust or lubricate the chain, and make sure no lube reaches the disc. Clean the piston before pushing it back, check the fluid level, and press the pedal repeatedly after fitting until it firms up.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPP91 for the rear of the Husqvarna Supermoto 701 across model years 2015 to 2024. The front pad for this model is the AGPA112, which Accossato lists for 2015 to 2020 only. The DK209 disc is also available from Accossato for this machine. Compare old and new pads before fitting.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test mark for the AGPP91OR. It is therefore sold for competition and off-road use.
Scope of Delivery
Two AGPP91 pads in the Organic mixture, a set for the rear caliper.
