The Honda RC213V-S is the road-going derivative of a MotoGP machine, built by hand in small numbers and today kept mostly by collectors who take it out on sunny weekends. Such a bike spends more time in a heated garage than on the road, and when it does come out, the rides are short and gentle. Accossato's AGPA42 fits the rear caliper of the RC213V-S from 2016 to 2018, and this version is the Organic mixture, a considerate choice for owners who want to preserve the original rear disc.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's Organic compound is designed to stay useful for a long time while going easy on the disc beneath it. Those two points are what the maker emphasises. On a machine whose original components are valued for their authenticity, reducing rotor wear is a strong argument. Accossato's general promises for its pads also hold: moderate wear, heat that is kept within limits so fade is reduced, and solid stopping power. The friction face is mounted on the AGPA42 backing plate.
Preserving a Rare Machine
Collectors of the RC213V-S tend to think in decades rather than seasons. Every consumable that can be replaced without touching an original part is welcome, and a rear pad that wears the disc slowly helps keep the factory rotor in service. The organic compound also copes happily with brakes that are cold at the start of every short ride, which is the normal situation for a bike that sits for weeks between outings.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture even when the bike stands still, so change it on a regular schedule regardless of distance covered. Before fitting new rear pads, clean the caliper piston carefully, check that the disc is free of any residue from storage covers or polish, and pump the pedal until firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA42 for the rear of the Honda RC213V-S, the 1000 cc road version, from 2016 to 2018. No other Accossato pad or disc is shown for this model. If you plan to use the RC213V-S on a track, the two other mixtures of this rear shape named above are the options to look at. Compare the pads in your caliper with the photos before ordering.
