DescriptionThe whole story▼
Every rider of a large adventure bike knows the moment: the lane has run out, there is a gate, and the only way on is a three-point turn on loose ground with a fully fuelled Multistrada V4 Rally between your knees. The rear brake is what makes that manageable. Accossato presses the AGPA93 rear pad in the Organic material, described by the company as giving longer performance while limiting wear on the disc. The Rally listing covers 2023 to 2026.
Key Features
- Rear brake pads for the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, 2023 to 2026
- AGPA93OR: the AGPA93 rear carrier in Accossato's Organic material
- Accossato quotes longer performance and less wear passed to the disc
- Made for the slow, controlled work a rear brake does on a heavy machine
- One caliper at the rear wheel, so a single box completes the axle
- Two pads in that box, the set the caliper needs
- The front of the same machine takes the AGPA106
- No German ABE in our files; supplied for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The Organic material is not asked to do anything dramatic, and that is rather the point of it. A long working life and a gentler relationship with the disc are both worth having at the rear of a heavy travel machine, where the disc lives in the dirt and the pads are the ones nobody thinks about until the pedal feels wrong. This is the only material Accossato presses on the AGPA93, so the back of a Rally offers one answer rather than four.
Turning Round on a Narrow Lane
Slow-speed control on a bike of this size is mostly footwork. A little drag on the rear settles everything: the machine stops trying to fall into the turn, the clutch can be fed in without drama, and the whole heavy assembly rotates around roughly the point you had in mind. Take the rear brake away and the same manoeuvre becomes a nervous shuffle. With a full tank and camping kit strapped on behind, the difference is considerable.
The same pedal does similar duty all day. Holding the bike on a slope while a gate is opened, keeping the speed down on a steep gravel descent, steadying things when a passenger shifts their weight. It is undramatic work, but there is a great deal of it, which is why a material aimed at long service is the right sort of thing to have at that end of a Multistrada V4 Rally.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA93 at the rear wheel of the Multistrada V4 Rally from 2023 to 2026. With one caliper back there, a single box completes the change. The front of the same bike takes the AGPA106 over the same seasons, and since that wheel has two calipers it needs two boxes. No disc is catalogued for the Rally. The standard V4 and the Pikes Peak hold rear listings of their own in the application table.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE for the AGPA93OR on the Rally and no German test certificate. The pads are supplied for competition and closed-course use.
Scope of Delivery
One box with two AGPA93 pads in the Organic material, which is the set for the single rear caliper of the Multistrada V4 Rally.
