DescriptionThe whole story▼
Traffic lights on a slope are where a tall bike tests its rider. The queue creeps forward, the F750GS has to be held still with a foot down and a hand free for the clutch, and the only thing keeping it from rolling backwards is the pedal under the right boot. Accossato's Organic (OR) filling of the AGPP91 rear pad is made for that undemanding but constant duty, and the catalogue lists it for the BMW F750GS from 2018 to 2024.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) rear pads for the BMW F750GS, article AGPP91OR
- Model years 2018 to 2024, rear wheel
- Accossato promises a long working life and reduced disc wear
- Matched to light, repeated pedal work at low speed
- Two pads per box, the set for the rear caliper
- The Sintered (ST) material fills the same shape for riders out in all weather
- Front wheel of this bike: AGPA92 pads. Accossato disc: DK006
- No German ABE documented; offered for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The organic version of this rear pad is the one built around patience rather than force. Accossato credits it with a long interval between changes and with treating the disc gently, and both of those promises pay off in the way a rear brake is actually used: lightly, frequently, and rarely with any real heat involved. A rear disc that keeps its thickness for the life of the bike is one fewer item on a list of eventual expenses. The box contains two pads, exactly the number the single caliper at the back of an F750GS will hold.
Holding Station in Traffic
Stop-start riding asks the rear brake to work as a parking device dozens of times in a morning. Holding a heavy machine on an incline belongs to the pedal, not the lever, because the lever occupies a hand that should be free for the clutch and the bars. The same applies while filtering, where a dragged rear brake steadies the bike at a pace too slow for the steering to help. Pads used this way wear evenly and slowly, but the hardware around them still needs looking after: when the wheel is out for a tyre, clean the caliper pistons before anything is pushed back, and check that the pad faces sit flat rather than at an angle. After refitting, press the pedal several times until it firms up before the bike moves.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data sheet puts the AGPP91 on the rear wheel of the BMW F750GS for the years 2018 to 2024. There is one caliper back there, so a single box completes the job. The front of the same machine runs the AGPA92 pad across the identical span, and the DK006 disc appears in the catalogue for this model as well. Riders whose F750GS spends its winters outdoors may prefer the sintered variant of this shape.
Road Approval
An approval document for the AGPP91OR, German ABE included, is not among our papers. We sell the pad for competition and closed-course use, and we say that plainly.
Scope of Delivery
One set of two AGPP91 pads in the Organic (OR) compound for the rear caliper.
