DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is a low, easy-going cruiser that many riders use for commuting, short trips and their first seasons on a bigger bike. Accossato makes the AGPA77 pad for it in an Organic mixture, and the same pad fits both the front and the rear caliper of model years 2024 to 2026. It is meant for everyday riders, riding-school bikes and anyone who values a soft, quiet brake that treats the discs gently.
Key Features
- AGPA77 pads for the Kawasaki Eliminator 500, 2024 to 2026
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPA77OR
- Same pad for the front and the rear caliper
- Per Accossato, long life and low disc wear
- Mild, progressive bite for new riders
- Quiet in city traffic
- Also produced in ST
- No ABE on file; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says its Organic compound lasts a long time and limits wear on the disc, which suits a cruiser that is ridden often and mostly at moderate pace. The company also claims low wear, resistance to fade through limited heat build-up and high stopping force for its pads in general. On the Eliminator 500, the practical result is a brake that responds from cold and does not grab, which is helpful for riders still building confidence. The block sits on the standard AGPA77 plate.
Commuting and First Seasons
An Eliminator 500 used for the daily trip to work sees many short stops at junctions and lights, often before the brakes have warmed up. An organic pad works well in that pattern because it bites from the first press and builds force in proportion to lever pressure. For riders who are new to bigger bikes, or for training schools running the Eliminator, that smooth response makes low-speed control easier.
Riding schools and daily commuters should check pad depth at regular intervals, since short-distance riding wears pads steadily. Keep the discs free of oil and cleaning products, and bed new pads in with a few gentle stops before riding in traffic.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA77 for both the front and the rear brake of the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 from 2024 to 2026. One box covers one caliper, so replacing the pads at both ends takes two boxes. Accossato also lists the DK271 disc for this model. Compare the old and new pads before fitting.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test mark for AGPA77OR. These pads are offered for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
