DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Zero FXE is a light, supermoto-styled electric bike built for the city, and Accossato lists its AGPA92 front pad for the FXE ZF7.2 of 2022. This version uses the Organic (OR) compound. The FXE is typically ridden in short hops between home, work and the café, often by riders who came from scooters or bicycles. A pad that is quiet, gentle on the disc and effective without warm-up matches that kind of urban life closely.
Key Features
- AGPA92 front pads for the Zero FXE (ZF7.2), 2022
- Organic (OR) compound for urban riding
- According to Accossato: longer performance, less disc wear
- Effective from the first stop of the morning
- Quiet operation to match a silent electric motor
- Also sold for this pad as ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- Two pads per box, one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of its organic compound focuses on two points: it delivers longer performance and it limits wear on the disc. For a small city bike, both mean lower running costs and less time in the workshop. The organic mixture is made for the moderate temperatures of stop-and-go traffic rather than for long mountain descents or track sessions, which suits the FXE's natural habitat.
Short Hops Around Town
A typical day on the FXE might include a dozen short rides, each with a cold start and a series of gentle stops at junctions, crossings and delivery bays. The organic pad is designed to bite predictably in exactly those moments, without the need to build temperature first. On a silent bike, pedestrians hear very little, and a squealing brake would be the loudest sound the FXE makes; the calm character of the organic mix helps here too. Riders stepping up from a scooter also tend to appreciate a progressive lever that does not snatch at low speed.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Zero FXE ZF7.2, model year 2022. The rear pad for the same bike is AGPP91. Swap pads on the same axle together, clean the caliper pistons before retracting them, and pump the lever a few times after fitting until the pressure point returns. On a lightweight bike the change is quick, but a careful bed-in over the first rides still pays off.
Road Approval
Accossato has not provided an ABE or approval paperwork for these pads, so we offer them for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
Two organic pads in the box, covering one front caliper.
