DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Yamaha YZ125 is a light two-stroke motocross bike built for the track. Accossato lists its front pad AGPA110 for the YZ125 from 2008 to 2021, and offers it in the Organic compound, SKU AGPA110OR. This version suits riders who spend most of their time practising on a local track at a steady pace, learning technique rather than racing, and who want a gentle, forgiving front brake that is easy to modulate.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) front pad, SKU AGPA110OR
- Yamaha YZ125, 2008 to 2021
- Accossato: lasting performance and low disc wear
- Forgiving lever for riders learning technique
- Easy modulation on hard-packed practice tracks
- Two pads per box for the front caliper
- Discs DK111, DK268, DK269 and rear pad AGPP106 listed
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Organic compound keeps its performance for a long time and limits wear on the disc. On a YZ125 used for practice laps at a moderate pace, that means a front brake that lasts. We stay with Accossato's description and give no details about the material.
Practice Days and Learning Technique
Anyone getting to grips with a YZ125 has a lot to learn: body position, throttle control, when and how hard to brake before a berm. On a dry, hard-packed practice track, a forgiving front pad helps, because it builds stopping force gradually and lets the rider feel the front tyre before it locks. The Organic pad gives the YZ125 that kind of lever. For wet tracks and mud, Accossato offers the same pad as ST and STMX, which are built for tougher conditions.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA110 for the front of the Yamaha YZ125 from 2008 to 2021. For later bikes, it lists AGPA288 from 2021 to 2026; since 2021 appears in both entries, compare your old pads with the product picture before ordering. The YZ125 has a single front disc, so one box is enough. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPP106 for 2003 to 2026, and it lists the discs DK111, DK268 and DK269 for the YZ125. Clean dirt from the caliper and pistons before fitting new pads.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or test certificate for this pad in our records. It is offered for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
