The Triumph Scrambler 1200 X, listed by Accossato for 2024 and 2025, is the more road-focused member of the latest Scrambler 1200 family, and many owners use it as a stylish everyday bike. For its front brake Accossato makes the AGPA72 pad in the Organic compound. It is the calm, economical choice for riders who commute, ride into town and enjoy weekend trips without pushing the brakes hard.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of the Organic compound centres on two points: it keeps performing over a long period and it limits disc wear. On a new Scrambler 1200 X that is used every day, those qualities mean smooth braking and discs that should stay in good condition for many seasons.
A New Scrambler as a Daily Bike
A Scrambler 1200 X is comfortable enough to ride every day, and many owners do exactly that: to the office, to the shops and out for dinner. That kind of riding involves many gentle stops with cold brakes. An organic pad is well suited to it, biting cleanly from cold and running quietly at low speed. For owners who want to keep running costs down on a new bike, a compound that is gentle on the discs is a sensible choice when the original pads are worn.
First Pad Change
On a newer bike the first pad change is a good moment to check the whole brake. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, check the fluid and disc thickness, fit both pads together, pump the lever until firm and bed the new pads in with light stops.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato names the Scrambler 1200 X of 2024 and 2025 for the AGPA72 front plate. For the rear of the same bike it lists AGPA92, but only for 2024; a 2025 owner should check the rear separately. Count the front calipers on your 1200 X before you order, as a box serves one.
Road Approval
No ABE or German test document is on file for AGPA72OR, and it is sold for competition use.
