DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a café racer with clip-on bars and a relaxed parallel twin, and most of its miles are covered on ordinary roads: the ride to work, a coffee stop in the next town, a gentle Sunday loop. Accossato lists front pad AGPA92 for the Continental GT 650 from 2020 to 2025, and this box contains the Organic mixture. It is intended for everyday riders who value a soft, quiet front brake and a disc that lasts for many seasons.
Key Features
- AGPA92 front pad for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, 2020 to 2025
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPA92OR
- Accossato: long-lasting performance with limited disc wear
- Soft, progressive lever at town speeds
- Quiet running on short, cool trips
- Suitable for riding school and learner use
- Also made as ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Organic compound keeps delivering over a long working life and is gentle on the disc. On a Continental GT 650 that spends most of its life in traffic, that is a sensible balance: the front disc wears slowly, and the lever responds gradually rather than abruptly. Accossato's general aims also apply: controlled heat against fading and a secure stopping effect.
Café Racer, Daily Rider
Riding a café racer through a city involves many gentle stops, such as at traffic lights, zebra crossings and slowing down behind buses. With the Organic pad, the Continental GT 650 can come to a halt smoothly, with a light squeeze and without any squealing, even when the brake is still cold after a short trip.
This mild character also suits newer riders. Many people buy the Continental GT 650 as their first larger bike, and a front brake that builds up gradually is easier to learn on than one that bites hard as soon as it is touched.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 for the years 2020 to 2025. The Continental GT 650 has a single front disc with one caliper, so one box is enough for the front. The matching Accossato rear pad is AGPP91, and the Accossato disc for this model is DKS035. Check the disc thickness when fitting new pads.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German approval document for this pad available to us. It is therefore sold for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two Organic front pads, one set for the single front caliper.
