DescriptionThe whole story▼
Organic front pads by Accossato for the KTM 690 Enduro R, model years 2009 to 2023. The 690 Enduro R is a tall single-cylinder dual-sport bike that many owners use for commuting, green lanes and long-distance travel on mixed surfaces. The Organic compound suits the calmer side of that use. Accossato says it gives long-lasting performance and limits disc wear, which is useful on a bike that covers big distances between services. It is a good match for riders who value a smooth, progressive front brake over outright bite.
Key Features
- Organic compound for the front of the KTM 690 Enduro R
- Fits the 690 Enduro R from 2009 to 2023
- Accossato: long life and low disc wear
- Smooth, progressive bite on tarmac and gravel
- Suited to commuting, green lanes and travel
- Two pads for the single front caliper
- The same pad is also offered as ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's Organic formula focuses on longevity and treating the rotor gently. On the 690 Enduro R, which often runs long distances between workshop visits, that means fewer pad changes and a front disc that keeps its thickness longer. The friction material is bonded to a steel back plate matching the front caliper.
A Long-Distance Single
Many 690 Enduro R owners use the bike for overland trips: a few thousand kilometres of mixed roads, gravel tracks and towns. On those trips, a pad that lasts and spares the disc is worth more than extra bite, and a progressive feel helps on loose surfaces. The Organic mix covers that brief. For heavy rain, steep passes and luggage, ST is the steadier option.
Before Setting Off
Check pad thickness before a long trip rather than halfway through it, and carry a spare set if you travel far from workshops. Bed new pads in on a quiet road before loading the bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
This pad fits the front caliper of the KTM 690 Enduro R from 2009 to 2023, matching Accossato's reference ENDURO 690 R (2009-2023). One box is enough for the single front caliper. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPP91 for 2009 to 2023, and its DK256 disc is also listed for the 690 Enduro R.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE or test documentation for this pad and supply it for racing and competition.
