DescriptionThe whole story▼
With its round headlamp, teardrop tank and classic lines, the Kawasaki Z650RS appeals to riders who like their motorcycles relaxed and good-looking. Many are used for gentle weekend rides to a café and for the trip to work in between. Accossato's AGPA72 front pads in the Organic (OR) compound are listed for the Z650RS from 2022 to 2026, and the organic mix matches the bike's easy-going character: soft at the first touch, quiet at walking pace and considerate towards the discs.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) compound for the front brake
- Fits the Kawasaki Z650RS, 2022 to 2026
- Gentle, well-graded response at the lever
- Designed by Accossato to limit disc wear
- Near-silent stops in town
- Two pads in the box for one caliper
- AGPP88 rear pad and DK236 disc listed for this bike
Construction and Material Quality
The Organic compound, in Accossato's words, gives longer performance and limits wear on the disc. For a retro roadster that is ridden at a measured pace, the pads and the discs both last well with this mix. Accossato also builds its pads for low wear and long life, with heat kept within limits so fade does not become an issue on a long downhill road.
Café Runs and Sunday Mornings
The typical Z650RS outing is not a flat-out blast but a relaxed ride through the countryside with a coffee stop at the end. An organic front pad fits that rhythm. It responds from the first stop of a cool morning, stays quiet as you roll into a village square and gives a smooth, predictable feel that suits a bike ridden for pleasure. Owners who keep their Z650RS immaculate also like the fact that organic pads produce little harsh dust. After fitting, bed the pads in with easy stops and pump the lever until it is firm before setting off.
Fitment and Compatibility
These pads are listed for the front of the Kawasaki Z650RS from 2022 to 2026, in Accossato's catalogue as Z 650 RS (2022-2026). The Z650RS has two front calipers, so you need two boxes to change the complete front. Accossato's rear pad for this bike is the AGPP88, and the brand lists the DK236 disc for the model. The AGPA72 also comes in Sintered (ST), EV1 street/track and EV2 racing.
Road Approval
We do not have an ABE or test mark for these pads, so we supply them for racing and competition use.
