DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Husqvarna Supermoto 701 is a big single on small, sticky wheels, and plenty of owners use it exactly as its light, narrow shape suggests: slicing through city traffic, darting between lights and riding to work. This front set, Accossato AGPA112 in the Organic mixture, fits the Supermoto 701 from 2015 to 2020. It is intended for everyday riders who make many short, gentle stops, want a quiet front brake and prefer to keep the disc in good shape rather than chase maximum bite.
Key Features
- Organic front pads AGPA112OR for the Husqvarna Supermoto 701
- Model years 2015 to 2020
- Accossato cites a long service life and low wear on the disc
- Smooth, gentle response on a cold brake
- At home in city traffic and on the daily commute
- Quiet in stop-and-go riding
- Other compounds for this front pad: ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- No ABE in our files; sold for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato keeps its Organic promise simple: the pads last and the disc is spared. For a Supermoto 701 ridden daily in town, where the front brake is applied dozens of times on every trip, those two points reduce running costs noticeably. The compound sits on the AGPA112 plate that the brand lists for the front of this model. Like every Accossato pad, it also offers healthy stopping force, restrained heat build-up and resistance to fade.
Short Hops and City Streets
A supermoto in the city is a joy: upright seating, a light front end and brakes that can stop the bike quickly when a car pulls out. Most of those stops are gentle, though, and the brake rarely gets warm. A compound that grips smoothly when cold and does not squeal suits that life well. The Organic face gives the Supermoto 701 a measured, easily modulated response, which also helps riders who are new to a tall, light bike that pitches forward readily under braking.
Look at the pads whenever the bike is in for a service, keep the disc clean and dry, and check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Clean the pistons before retracting them for a new set, then pump the lever until it is firm and bed the pads in with some calm stops.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA112 for the front of the Husqvarna Supermoto 701 in model years 2015 to 2020; later model years are not covered by this front pad in Accossato's list. The rear of the bike takes the AGPP91, and Accossato also offers the DK209 disc for this machine. Check how many calipers your bike has, and compare the pad shape with your current set.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test mark for the AGPA112OR. The set is supplied for competition and closed-ground use.
