DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Husqvarna Norden 901 is an adventure tourer that many owners also use as their everyday transport: the morning commute, errands in town, a weekend loop on country lanes. This front pad set, Accossato AGPA96 in the Organic mixture, fits the Norden 901 from 2022 to 2024. It is the version for riders who spend most of their time in traffic and on ordinary roads, who value a quiet brake, and who want the front discs to last as long as possible.
Key Features
- Front pad set AGPA96OR for the Husqvarna Norden 901
- Model years 2022, 2023 and 2024
- Organic mixture that Accossato says gives extended life and spares the disc
- Friendly bite when cold, on the first stop of the day
- A natural choice for commuting and city traffic
- Runs quietly at low speeds
- The Norden 901 has twin front discs, so two boxes are needed for the front
- No ABE in our files; sold for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's description the Organic compound does two jobs: it lasts a long time and it keeps disc wear low. On an adventure bike that covers daily mileage in all kinds of traffic, those two qualities save money and workshop visits. The AGPA96 plate is the front shape the company lists for the Norden 901, so the friction face is the only thing that changes between versions. Accossato adds that all its pads combine good stopping power with limited heat and resistance to fade.
Everyday Riding and Town Traffic
Commuting is full of short, gentle stops: a red light, a slow van, a pedestrian crossing. The brake is rarely hot and often cold, and the rider wants a smooth, quiet response rather than a sharp grab. The Organic face gives the Norden 901 that kind of manners. It also suits riders who carry the bike through the winter on short trips, when the pads never reach high temperatures, and anyone who wants a relaxed feel for learning a heavier machine.
With twin front calipers, change all four pads at once so both sides grip evenly. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, check the fluid level and the condition of both discs, and keep the rotors free of grease. After fitting, pump the lever until it is firm and make a few gentle stops to bed the pads in.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues the AGPA96 for the front of the Husqvarna Norden 901 in model years 2022, 2023 and 2024. The Norden 901 carries two front calipers, so a full front change calls for two boxes. The rear of the bike takes Accossato's AGPA29. Compare the pad shape with your old set before fitting.
Road Approval
We do not hold an ABE or German test mark for the AGPA96OR. The set is offered for competition and use on closed ground.
Scope of Delivery
Two AGPA96 pads in the Organic mixture: enough for one front caliper.
