DescriptionThe whole story▼
A BMW F900GS rarely spends every day in the terrain it was drawn for. Most weeks it carries its owner to work through town traffic, where the front brake is asked for dozens of times before anything under the mudguard has warmed up. Accossato's AGPA92 pad fits the front of the F900GS built from 2024 to 2026, and this article number carries the Organic (OR) material: a friction mix for riders who want an even answer from the first pull of the lever and a long life from the discs behind it.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the BMW F900GS, model years 2024 to 2026
- Accossato AGPA92 shape in the Organic (OR) material, article number AGPA92OR
- One box holds two pads, the amount a single caliper takes
- The F900GS runs a caliper on each front disc, so the axle needs two boxes
- Accossato ties this material to a long working life and to gentle treatment of the disc
- An even rise in force from cold, which suits short journeys in traffic
- The same shape is catalogued in the ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC materials
- No German ABE on file; supplied for track and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Every AGPA92 leaves the factory with the same outline, and what separates one article number from the next is the friction material pressed onto the plate. Here that is the organic mix, and Accossato's note on it holds a single idea: performance that lasts, and a disc that is spared. The second half of that deserves attention on a machine of this kind, because a front disc is a far larger purchase than a pair of pads, and an owner who keeps the bike for years will notice which of the two he buys more often. The box holds a pair, the quantity one caliper swallows, and both plates sit square against the disc from the first stop onwards.
The First Stops of the Morning
Cold pads on a cold disc are the normal state of a bike used for transport. You leave the yard, the first junction arrives before the mirrors have settled, and nothing in the system has gathered any heat at all. Town riding then repeats that pattern all day: brake, roll, brake again, with long enough gaps for everything to cool down in between. A material that wants warming before it grips properly is poor company in that setting. The F900GS adds a note of its own, since a tall machine with long fork travel dives a good way when the lever is pulled hard, and a predictable build-up of force is easier to live with than a sharp initial bite that unsettles the front end. Riders who spend most of their year in traffic also tend to keep a set of pads for a long time, so it pays to look at the friction material whenever you clean the wheel. After the bike has stood outside in the wet, use the first gentle stop of the day to wipe the rust film off the discs before you need them in earnest.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's application list puts the AGPA92 at the front of the BMW F900GS from 2024 to 2026, the rally-styled generation that took over from the F850GS. One box covers one caliper, so a complete front change means ordering twice, and both sides belong on the bike together if the wheel is to be pulled up evenly. At the other end of the F900GS the catalogue holds the AGPP91 pad across the same model years, and the DK006 disc is listed for this machine as well.
Road Approval
No test certificate and no German ABE have reached us for the AGPA92OR, so there is nothing on file that would document these pads for public roads. We sell them for the circuit and for competition.
Scope of Delivery
