Kawasaki rebuilt the Ninja 650 around sharper styling for its 2017 generation, sold with ABS as standard through to 2019. The filler keeps the familiar M20x2.5 thread, and Accossato's FP004 fits it in CNC-machined aluminium, anodised across eight colours, in place of the plain factory cap.

Construction and Material Quality
A block of aluminium becomes the FP004 after a session on Accossato's CNC machines, and the colour is added only once the shaping is finished, through anodising rather than a spray gun. Eight shades come out of that process, titanium and silver the quieter pair, orange, red and gold the three that stand out against a parked row of otherwise identical Ninja 650s. The thread itself, M20x2.5, is simply the figure that decides whether the cap fits, independent of styling generation.

A Ninja 650 bought as an everyday bike earns steady, predictable mileage rather than occasional hard use, which makes a simple maintenance habit easy to keep. Check the oil cold and level before the working week starts, clean the filler area before opening it, and fit the FP004 by hand once the reading is taken. Fitment and Compatibility
Only the 2017 to 2019 window applies to this particular Ninja 650, the sharper-styled generation sold with ABS fitted as standard throughout. Accossato currently lists no second cap for this specific model, so the filler stands on its own here. The underlying M20x2.5 thread is shared widely enough that the same part turns up on several Ducati machines too, a coincidence of engineering rather than any connection between the two makers. A rider unsure of their own bike's exact generation can check the fairing styling against Kawasaki's own archive before ordering.
