DescriptionThe whole story▼
Suzuki built the GSF1250 Bandit across two distinct spells, 2007 to 2011 and then again, as the SA version, in 2015 and 2016, and Accossato's FP001 oil filler cap fits the Bandit through both periods. It is CNC-machined aluminium, M20x1.5, anodised in eight colours.
Key Features
- Oil filler cap for the Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit, 2007 to 2011 and 2015 to 2016
- Thread M20x1.5, the size stated by the maker
- Aluminium, CNC-machined, with an anodised finish
- Eight colours: orange, blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium, gold
- Suits other machines whose filler uses the same thread size
- Accossato also lists a matching front brake fluid reservoir cap, TS009, for this bike
- No German ABE on file; offered for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The FP001 is described by three facts: aluminium, CNC-machined, and anodised rather than painted for its colour, offered in eight finishes from orange and red through to the quieter silver, titanium and black. Its thread is M20x1.5, the figure Accossato gives because it is what determines fit, and the maker notes that the same size also appears on other motorcycles beyond the Bandit specifically.
Two Different Eras of the Same Bandit
Suzuki sold the GSF1250 Bandit from 2007 to 2011, dropped it from the range for a few years, then brought the SA version of the Bandit back for 2015 and 2016, and the FP001 covers both periods without any change to fit. An owner of either generation gets the same cap, the same thread and the same eight colours to choose from, which makes replacing a tired original or matching it to other anodised parts on the bike equally straightforward whichever Bandit happens to be sitting in the garage. Accossato also lists a front brake fluid reservoir cap, TS009, for this bike, letting both caps be ordered in the same colour if that is the look an owner wants for their Bandit.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the FP001 for the GSF1250 Bandit across 2007 to 2011 and 2015 to 2016, and the identical cap also appears on its application list for several other models, among them the Aprilia Shiver 900, Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 and Benelli Leoncino 500. The same M20x1.5 thread is said to fit other motorcycles beyond Accossato's own list, so checking the size against your filler before ordering is worth doing if your bike is not named here.
Road Approval
No German ABE or type approval is documented for the FP001, so Accossato offers it for competition use.
