DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Honda CRF450RX is Honda's cross-country and off-road competition version of the CRF450R, built for off-road racing rather than stadium motocross starts. Accossato lists its DSH01 rear wheel spacer pair for the CRF450RX built in 2017 and 2018, sitting either side of the rear hub where a hard fall on rocky or rutted ground can just as easily bend a spacer as a careless wheel change can.
Key Features
- Rear wheel spacer pair for the Honda CRF450RX, 2017 and 2018
- Accossato code DSH01, fitted left and right of the rear hub
- Keeps the rear wheel seated correctly between the hub and swingarm
- Available in red or silver
- Same part also listed for the Honda CRF450R, Honda CRF250X and Honda CRF450X
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The CRF450RX takes the same DSH01 spacer as a handful of related Honda machines, listed by Accossato for this bike rather than offered as a one-size part across unrelated bikes. Red and silver remain the only two finishes. A spacer knocked out of true in a hard off-road fall is better replaced outright than trusted back onto the bike, and the same moment with the wheel out is worth using to run an eye over the seal on that side of the hub, then grease the axle and tighten it to Honda's torque figure.
After a Hard Fall on Rocky Ground
Off-road competition on a CRF450RX puts the rear wheel through rock strikes and awkward landings that a stadium motocross track rarely produces, and a bike that has gone down hard on one side is worth a proper look at the rear hub before it goes out again, not just a wipe-down and a quick glance. Pulling the wheel after a fall, rather than only after a crash that looked serious, catches a spacer that has been knocked out of shape without yet causing a problem on the trail. That short workshop check, wheel out, spacers inspected, wheel back in, costs little time against the alternative of a spacer failing to seat properly at the next event.
Fitment and Compatibility
Built for only two years, 2017 and 2018, the CRF450RX has a short entry on Accossato's application list for the DSH01, shared with the longer-running Honda CRF450R, CRF250X and CRF450X. That short window leaves little room for doubt about which bike this covers, but checking the specific build year against Accossato's list is still a sensible habit before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the DSH01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
Scope of Delivery
