DescriptionThe whole story▼
A suspension service on a Husqvarna FC 350 usually means the shock and linkage come off, and with the rear end stripped down that far, the axle blocks are already exposed and worth a look before everything goes back together. Accossato's RCM1 covers the FC 350 built in 2014 and 2015, a pair of rear axle blocks with their own adjusting screw, easy to check or replace while the bike is already apart for other work.
Key Features
- Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna FC 350, 2014 to 2015
- Accossato code RCM1, one pair, left and right
- Each block carries its own adjusting screw for setting chain tension
- Orange, black or silver
- Also listed for the FC 250, the FC 450 and a wide run of other Husqvarna and KTM off-road models
- Accossato's RTM1 covers the same bike without the adjusting screw, for riders who prefer the stock method
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Each RCM1 block takes the place of the stock part at the swingarm end, with an adjusting screw worked into its body so tension can be set without a separate tool. Orange, black and silver are the finishes on offer, orange being closest to the bike's own factory colour. With the rear end already stripped for other work, this is the easiest moment to notice a block that no longer sits quite right or a screw that has started to stick.
After a Suspension Service
Pulling the shock and linkage off an FC 350 for a proper service opens up the whole rear end, and with the swingarm sitting loose on the bench, the axle blocks are as easy to inspect as they will ever be without pulling the wheel specifically for that reason. Riders who only ever look at the blocks when something else has already brought the rear end apart tend to catch wear earlier than riders who wait for a dedicated check, simply because the opportunity comes around more often as part of routine suspension work. Refitting a fresh pair of blocks at the same time as the service means the whole rear end goes back together with nothing left to question, rather than leaving one part unchecked while everything else gets fresh attention. It is a small addition to a bigger job, but one that is easy to skip if nobody thinks to do it.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the FC 350, the RCM1's application list is limited to the 2014 and 2015 model years, a short enough window that it is worth confirming against your own bike before buying. Other Husqvarna and KTM off-road models sharing this swingarm, among them the FC 250 and the FC 450, take the same two years and the identical pair of blocks. Where a rider would rather leave chain tension to the stock method, Accossato's RTM1 fits this bike in the same position without the built-in screw.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the RCM1, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
