DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every TE 300 owner wants a screw built into the axle block, and Accossato's RTM1 answers that preference directly: rear axle blocks for the TE 300 built between 2014 and 2018 that hold the wheel's position against marks cut into the swingarm, the way the factory set the bike up originally.
Key Features
- Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna TE 300, 2014 to 2018
- Accossato code RTM1, fitted at each end of the swingarm
- Stock-style design, no built-in adjusting screw
- Available in orange, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TE 125, the Husqvarna TE 250 and the Husqvarna TX 125
- Accossato also offers the screw-equipped version of this block for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
The RTM1 is cut to the TE 300's own axle diameter and swingarm slot, with no built-in screw to maintain, tension instead read off the swingarm's own markings. Orange, black and silver make no difference to how securely the block holds the wheel's position. A block showing a visible twist after a heavy impact deserves comparing against its opposite number before being trusted again.
Setting Tension on the Bigger Engine Without a Screw
Owners who stick with the stock method on the TE 300 rely on careful, even marks and a steady hand rather than a built-in mechanism, and given the pull this engine can put through the chain, getting that even measurement right on both sides matters more here than it would on a milder bike. Lining the wheel up against the same marks each time, rather than eyeballing a slightly different position with every tension check, is the habit that keeps the RTM1 doing its job reliably on a bike that puts more strain through the drivetrain than most of its stablemates. Some riders find they prefer this closer, more hands-on way of setting the wheel precisely because the bigger engine makes them pay more attention to the job generally.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list runs the RTM1 against the TE 300 from 2014 to 2017, plus the TE 300 I built in 2018, matching the screw-equipped RCM1's own span for this bike since both occupy the same swingarm slot. The identical pair also fits the TE 125, the TE 250 and the TX 125. Whichever version ends up on the bike, checking the exact build year against Accossato's list first is worth the few minutes it takes.
Road Approval
Accossato lists no German ABE for the RTM1, so the blocks are intended for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
