DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every TC 125 owner changes gearing often enough to want a built-in adjusting screw, and for riders who set tension once at the start of a season and leave it largely alone, Accossato's RTM1 offers a simpler, stock-style alternative. Listed for the TC 125 built in 2014 and 2015, this pair fixes the rear wheel's position at each end of the swingarm using marks cut into the swingarm itself, the way the bike left the factory.
Key Features
- Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna TC 125, 2014 and 2015
- Accossato code RTM1, fitted at each end of the swingarm
- Stock-style design, no built-in adjusting screw
- Available in orange, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TC 250, the Husqvarna FE 250 and the Husqvarna TE 125
- Accossato also offers a chain guide, a swingarm slider and the screw-equipped version of this block for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the RTM1 to the TC 125's exact axle diameter and swingarm slot, keeping the stock method of reading tension off marks on the swingarm. The three colours, orange, black and silver, are a styling choice only. A block showing a clear bend against its mounting face, or scored deeply from contact with something on track, is worth comparing against its opposite number before being trusted again.
A Simple Setup for a Simple Bike
Part of the appeal of a 125 two-stroke is how little there is to go wrong with it compared with larger, more complicated machines, and some owners carry that same preference for simplicity through to the parts they choose around the chain. The RTM1 fits that approach directly: no screw mechanism to maintain, nothing extra to seize or strip, just a pair of blocks that holds the wheel exactly where it is set and stays there until deliberately moved again. For a rider who checks tension on a fixed schedule rather than constantly fiddling with it between sessions, that stock-style approach removes one more small mechanism from the list of things that could eventually need attention. It is not a question of one version being better outright, only of which habit suits the way a particular rider actually looks after the bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list, the RTM1 and its screw-equipped sibling the RCM1 both cover 2014 and 2015 for the TC 125, since the two pairs share one mounting slot on the swingarm. The same stock-style blocks turn up again against the TC 250, the FE 250 and the TE 125. Fitment does not change between the two versions; only the adjustment method does. Lining up the TC 125's own build year with Accossato's list is still worth doing before either pair is ordered.
Road Approval
Accossato lists no German ABE for the RTM1, so the blocks are intended for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
