DescriptionThe whole story▼
Two styles of rear axle block are listed for the FE 450, and the RTM1 is the stock-style half of that pair: no built-in screw, chain tension read off marks cut into the swingarm the way the bike left the factory between 2014 and 2018. It mounts at each end of the swingarm and fixes exactly where the rear wheel sits.
Key Features
- Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna FE 450, 2014 to 2018
- Accossato code RTM1, fitted at each end of the swingarm
- Stock-style design, no built-in adjusting screw
- Available in orange, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna FC 450, the Husqvarna TE 125 and the Husqvarna TX 125
- Accossato also offers a chain guide, a swingarm slider and the screw-equipped version of this block for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the RTM1 to the FE 450's own axle diameter and swingarm slot, keeping to the stock approach of marking tension against the swingarm rather than fitting a screw into the block itself. The colour options, orange, black and silver, make no difference to how the block fixes the wheel's position. A block that has taken a heavy hit and now sits visibly skewed against its mounting face should be compared with the opposite side before being trusted again.
Comparing the Two Axle Block Styles
The RCM1 and RTM1 bolt into exactly the same slot on the FE 450's swingarm and are offered in the same three colours, so the only real difference between them is how chain tension gets set. The RTM1 follows the stock method, lining the wheel up against marks cut into the swingarm, the way most riders learned to do it on their first dirt bike. The RCM1 instead has a small screw built in at each side that turns the wheel back in fine, even steps, which some riders find quicker once they are used to it, especially when the job is being done without the bike propped at a convenient height. Neither method changes how securely the wheel is held once everything is tightened; it comes down to which approach an owner already prefers.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list gives the same 2014-to-2018 span for the RTM1 as it does for the RCM1 on this bike, since both pairs share the identical mounting slot on the FE 450's swingarm. This stock-style design also appears against the FC 450, the TE 125 and the TX 125 on Accossato's wider list. Picking between the two versions comes down to adjustment method alone, not fitment, so checking the FE 450's own build year against the list is the one step worth doing regardless of which pair ends up on the bike.
Road Approval
Accossato lists no German ABE for the RTM1, so the blocks are intended for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
