DescriptionThe whole story▼
Few two-strokes have the following that the KTM 300EXC enjoys among hard enduro and extreme enduro riders, who prize its combination of light handling and a wide spread of torque on the most technical ground available. Riders who compete at that level ask a great deal of their feet, bracing against rock, roots and standing water in the same ten minutes. Accossato's enlarged Ergal footpegs for the 300EXC of 1998 to 2016 come in six colours.
Key Features
- Enlarged Accossato footpegs for the KTM 300EXC, model years 1998 to 2016
- Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy
- Broader base for demanding, technical extreme enduro ground
- For motocross, enduro and off-road use, as stated by Accossato
- Six colours: orange, blue, green, black, red and Titanium
- Sold as a pair, one peg per side
- Later 300EXC model years have separate Accossato sets
- No German ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Little beyond two facts appears in Accossato's own notes on this part: the shape is enlarged, and the material is Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy, intended for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles generally. For the long-running 300EXC covered here, the colour choice stretches across six options, orange, blue, green, black, red or Titanium, and the set is a left and right pair.
Ten Minutes of Everything
A tough extreme enduro special test can change character every few metres: a rock garden gives way to a muddy ditch, which gives way to a steep, loose climb, all inside a span most riders would call one obstacle on an easier course. The 300EXC's torque helps carry a rider through the softer sections, but torque alone does not keep a boot on the peg when the ground underneath keeps changing without warning.
What holds a rider together through that kind of test is usually footwork built from hours of practice, not raw strength, since there is rarely time to think before the next obstacle arrives. A broad, dependable peg gives the boots something consistent to rely on even as everything else, grip, incline, surface, changes constantly beneath the wheels.
Fitment and Compatibility
The 1998–2016 300EXC takes this FR795, while 2017–2023 bikes need the FR798 and 2024 onwards the FR809, with the colour range changing between the three sets. We recommend checking your exact model year before ordering, and getting in touch if anything is unclear. The identical FR795 is also listed for several other KTM and Husqvarna enduro machines.
Road Approval
No ABE or comparable approval document is available to us for this footpeg, so it is offered for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
