DescriptionThe whole story▼
The KTM 150EXC occupies a narrow but popular niche, a two-stroke enduro bike built around a small, free-revving engine that lets a rider carry speed through technical ground without the weight of a 250 or 300. Keeping that momentum alive depends on constant small inputs, body position shifting from one obstacle to the next almost without a pause. Accossato's enlarged Ergal footpegs for the 150EXC of 2020 to 2023 come in orange or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Enlarged and made of Ergal: that is the whole of Accossato's own description for this footpeg, aimed generally at motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is known as a high-strength aluminium alloy. The 150EXC of 2020 to 2023 takes the part in orange or black, with the set made up of one peg for each side of the bike.
Carrying Momentum on a Small Two-Stroke
A 150EXC has to be ridden with an eye on momentum at all times, since the engine has little low-end pull to fall back on if speed drops too low before a climb or a technical section. Experienced riders on this class of bike tend to flow through a trail rather than attack it in bursts, keeping the throttle open steadily and using body weight, not brute power, to get through rough ground. That style asks for constant, small adjustments in stance, often many times within a single section.
All of those adjustments move through the feet, shifting forward on a climb, back on a descent, and sideways through an off-camber turn, often within a few seconds of each other. A narrow peg can make this kind of riding feel unstable, since the boot has less margin for error when it is rarely in the same position for long. A broader platform gives the rider somewhere reliable to plant the foot between each small shift.
Fitment and Compatibility
This FR798 fits the KTM 150EXC of 2020 to 2023, according to Accossato. For 2024 to 2026, the list gives the FR809 instead, in a different colour range. Please confirm your bike's model year before ordering and ask us if anything is unclear. We also list the identical FR798 for several GasGas and Husqvarna enduro models of similar size.
Road Approval
No ABE or other approval document is available to us for this footpeg, so it is sold for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
