DescriptionThe whole story▼
The KTM 125XC-W sits at the lighter end of KTM's cross-country enduro range, built for riders who want two-stroke agility over tight, technical trails rather than outright power. Accossato's enlarged Ergal footpegs for the 125XC-W, covering the 2017 to 2020 model years, come in orange or black.
Key Features
- Enlarged Accossato footpegs for the KTM 125XC-W, model years 2017 to 2020
- Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy
- Broader base than the stock footpeg
- For motocross, enduro and off-road use, as stated by Accossato
- Two colours: orange or black
- Sold as a pair, one peg per side
- Accossato lists the identical footpeg for several GasGas and Husqvarna models
- No German ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
As with the rest of Accossato's off-road footpeg range, the detail given for this part is limited to two things: the shape is enlarged compared with the original, and the material is Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy, aimed at motocross, enduro and off-road machines generally. On the 125XC-W, the colour choice is narrower than on some bigger-capacity models Accossato covers, running to orange or black, and the part is supplied as a left and right pair.
Finding Grip on a Smaller Enduro Bike
A lightweight cross-country bike like the 125XC-W rewards a rider who can stand confidently through rutted singletrack and tight, root-covered climbs, shifting weight back and forth between the footpegs almost constantly to keep the bike balanced. A wider platform underfoot gives a boot more to brace against through that kind of riding, where the margin for a slipping foot is already smaller than on a heavier four-stroke that carries more of its own momentum through rough sections.
Riders moving onto the 125XC-W from an even smaller trail bike often notice how much more the footpegs matter once the terrain gets properly technical, and a set that keeps its grip through a wet or muddy ride is one less thing to think about mid-climb.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the 125XC-W, Accossato's fitment for the FR798 covers 2017 to 2020, and the identical part also turns up against several GasGas and Husqvarna codes, the EC 300, FC 250 and FE 450 among them. If your bike's year is not obviously covered, comparing it against the application list before ordering, or simply asking us, avoids any guesswork.
Road Approval
No ABE or comparable approval document is available to us for this footpeg, so it is offered for competition use.
