DescriptionThe whole story▼
Hard enduro riders talk about Erzberg and events like it the way climbers talk about a mountain: not as a race so much as a test of nerve against rock. A Husqvarna TE 300 is a common choice for that kind of ground, a two-stroke light enough to haul over a step but strong enough to climb it in one go if the rider's feet stay put. For the TE 300 of 2014, 2015 and 2016, Accossato lists enlarged footpegs in Ergal, in six colours.
Key Features
- Enlarged Accossato footpegs for the Husqvarna TE 300, model years 2014 to 2016
- Made of Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy
- Broader standing surface for technical, rocky ground
- Accossato's stated use: motocross, enduro and off-road riding
- Six colours: orange, blue, green, black, red and Titanium
- One peg for each side, sold as a pair
- Later TE 300 model years are covered by separate Accossato sets
- No German ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato keeps the technical description of this part to a single line, translated from the Italian: an enlarged footpeg, made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal itself is counted among the high-strength aluminium alloys, chosen for a part that takes the rider's full weight on every climb and every landing. Two pegs come in the set, one for the left foot and one for the right, and the TE 300 of 2014 to 2016 can be ordered in six colours: orange, blue, green, black, red or Titanium.
Feet First on a Rock Step
A rock step rewards patience more than speed. Riders who approach it well usually pick a line first, often on foot, looking for a ledge the front wheel can land on and a spot where the rear tyre will bite rather than spin on bare stone. Momentum matters, but so does control at low speed, since the TE 300 has to be steered precisely between obstacles that a faster, blind run would simply smash into. Through all of this the rider is almost always standing, weight shifting forward and back as the ground tilts beneath the wheels.
That standing position puts real load on the pegs, especially at the exact moment the front wheel lands on top of a step and the whole bike pitches. A boot that slides even slightly at that instant can cost the climb, and a rider who has to look down to find the peg again has already lost the line. A broad, steady platform under the sole lets the rider keep the eyes on the rock instead of the feet, which is most of what separates a clean climb from a stalled one halfway up.
Fitment and Compatibility
This FR795 is listed by Accossato for the TE 300 of 2014, 2015 and 2016. Two further Accossato sets exist for the same bike: the FR798 for 2017 to 2023 and the FR809 for 2024 to 2026, each with its own colour range. Please confirm the model year of your TE 300 before ordering, compare the photos and colours, and get in touch with us if anything is unclear. The identical FR795 is also listed in our shop for several KTM and Husqvarna models in similar classes.
Road Approval
No ABE or comparable approval document has been supplied to us for these footpegs, so we offer them for competition use.
