DescriptionThe whole story▼
Plenty of riders who raced in their youth come back to motocross years later, and many of them choose a two-stroke. A Husqvarna TC 250 from 2014 to 2016 is a typical choice: direct, lively and comparatively simple to maintain, with the kind of character many of them remember from their first racing days. The body, however, has usually changed more than the bikes. Strength, stamina and reactions need rebuilding, and the standing position is a good place to start. For these TC 250 model years, Accossato offers enlarged Ergal footpegs in six colours.

Construction and Material Quality
According to Accossato, these are enlarged footpegs in Ergal for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy; the enlarged platform gives the sole a broader base than a narrow peg, which is the whole of the maker's claim. For the TC 250 of 2014 to 2016 the choice of colour is wide, orange, blue, green, black, red or Titanium, and the set consists of a left and a right peg. No other technical data is available.
The Returning Rider
The first sessions back on a motocross track are humbling for most returning riders. The TC 250 feels quicker than memory suggests, the track seems rougher, and after a few laps the forearms start to tighten. Much of that comes from riding too much with the hands and too little with the legs. Coaches advise returning riders to relearn the basics before chasing lap times: a standing position with the knees bent and the weight on the pegs, short sessions with rest in between, and gradual progress.
Fitness makes the biggest difference over a season. Cycling, running and some strength work for the legs and core build the foundations that allow the rider to stand and hold the bike with the knees, rather than hanging on to the bars. A broad, stable peg supports that position and gives tired feet a good base. When fitting new pegs to an older TC 250, check the springs and pivots, grease the pivot lightly and reset the gear lever and brake pedal for your boots before the first ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists two footpeg sets for the TC 250: this FR795 for 2014 to 2016 and the FR798 for 2017 to 2022. The model year therefore decides which set fits your TC 250. Check it in your papers, compare the photos and the colour choices, and contact us if you would like us to confirm. The same FR795 is also listed with us for the TC 125, the FE 350 and the TE 300.
Road Approval
For this set we have no ABE and no other test document, so it is sold for motocross and similar competition.
