DescriptionThe whole story▼
A long, steep climb is where a big four-stroke enduro shows what it can do, and where its rider has to work hardest. The Beta RR 480 4T has torque in abundance, yet on a loose slope that power only helps while the rear tyre stays loaded and the front stays down. The rider's position decides both, and it is held through the footpegs. Accossato's enlarged footpegs for the RR 480 4T of 2020 to 2026 are made from Ergal and can be ordered in orange, blue or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Enlarged footpegs made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles: that is Accossato's full description of this part. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. The larger surface is there for the boot, which bears the rider's weight whenever he or she stands, and on a climb that is nearly all the time. The set is a pair, one for each side of the RR 480 4T, in a single colour chosen from orange, blue and black.
Standing Up the Climb
Riders approach a climb standing, in a gear high enough to avoid wheelspin, with speed built up on the flat before the slope begins. As the bike tilts upward they move forward: chest over the handlebar, elbows up, knees bent and the weight pressing down through the feet onto the pegs. That keeps the front wheel on the ground while the rear still has enough load to grip. A smooth, constant throttle does more good than big bursts, which only dig the rear tyre in.
If the climb fails, stop before the bike starts to roll back: hold it on the brakes, step off on the uphill side and turn it across the slope before riding or rolling down. On a heavy four-stroke like the RR 480 4T this takes strength and some practice. On the way up, though, a secure footing is what keeps the rider in position, and a broader peg gives the sole more to hold on to while ground and bike are both pointing at the sky.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the RR 480 4T from 2020 to 2026 for this set, and we have linked it to those model years. No other Accossato footpeg is listed for the bike; the same pair is available for the RR 430 4T, the RR 350 4T and the RR 300 2T. When fitting, clean the mounts, grease the pivot lightly and check that both pegs return fully after being folded up.
Road Approval
We have not received any ABE or test documentation for this set. It is offered for enduro competition and motorsport use.
