The Triumph Tiger 900 GT is the road-oriented version of the Tiger 900, but road-oriented does not mean tarmac-only. Plenty of GT owners ride gravel passes, forest roads and dirt tracks on their travels. For those who do so regularly, Accossato lists rear pad AGPP91 for the GT of 2020 to 2025 in its Off-road sintered (STMX) compound, the company's mix for riders who leave the asphalt behind.

Construction and Material Quality
The manufacturer's wording for STMX is brief and names a type of rider rather than a formula: people who ride off-road. That is all the data sheet gives us, and it is enough to know what the pad was developed for. Accossato, today based in Villastellone outside Turin, makes the same broad promises for this mix as for its others: patient wear, heat that stays moderate so the brake does not fade, and a firm, reliable stop.
Unpaved Roads on a Road Tiger
The GT's road-biased chassis handles a well-graded gravel road comfortably, and many travellers find that the most memorable routes are unpaved: high passes in the Alps and Pyrenees, forest roads in Scandinavia, tracks across the Iberian interior. On such surfaces, the rear brake takes on more work because a sliding front is harder to control on loose ground. Dust, grit and water put the rear pad under pressure. The STMX compound is designed for riders who meet such conditions often. After unpaved stretches, rinse the caliper, check the pad and make sure the piston moves freely. If your GT stays on tarmac, OR or ST are the right choice.
Fitment and Compatibility
In Accossato's listing, AGPP91 covers the rear caliper of the Tiger 900 GT for every model year from 2020 through 2025. For the front of the GT, our data holds neither an Accossato pad nor a disc, so this box is about the back wheel alone. A clean piston slides back without damage to its seal; a disc wiped with brake cleaner, not with the rag you used for the chain, stays free of contamination; and a pedal pumped several times before the ride confirms that the system has pressure again. Gravel roads also shake loose anything left untightened, so check the caliper bolts after the job.
Road Approval
There are no German ABE or test documents for this pad in our records. It is intended for off-road sport and competition.
