DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's list for the Triumph Street Triple 675 RX, built 2015 to 2016, includes the AGPP91 rear pad in its Off-road sintered compound, marked STMX. This is Accossato's material for off-road riders, and on a sporty naked it is a specialised option. It might suit an RX owner who regularly parks at a dusty campsite, rides to events held on grass or gravel, or faces unsealed roads on the way to a favourite route.
Key Features
- Rear brake pads for the Triumph Street Triple 675 RX, 2015 to 2016
- STMX compound on the AGPP91 shape (AGPP91STMX)
- Accossato's compound for off-road riders
- For dusty campsites, grass car parks and gravel
- One box fits the rear caliper
- OR and ST also available on this shape
- No German ABE; competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes STMX as its compound for off-road riders. The AGPP91 plate is used across several machines, which is why this version is catalogued for the RX. Accossato's general aims for its pads include low wear, reduced fade and strong stopping power.
Events on Grass and Gravel
Bike meetings, rallies and festivals often take place on fields or gravel car parks. Arriving and leaving on a naked bike means a slow ride across loose ground, where the rear brake is used more than the front. Dust and mud reach the rear caliper quickly. A pad made for dirty conditions is designed with that in mind.
Cleaning Afterwards
After an event on grass or gravel, rinse the rear caliper area gently and check that the pads move freely. At pad changes, clean the piston before pushing it back and inspect the dust seal. For purely tarmac riding, the OR and ST versions are more typical choices. Dry grass can also collect around a hot exhaust and brake area when the bike is parked, so choose firm ground where possible and let the machine cool before covering it at the end of the day.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only two model years are involved here: Accossato ties the AGPP91 to the back brake of the 675 RX built in 2015 and 2016. The rear wheel has a single caliper, so one box is all you need. Up front those bikes take the AGPA38, and Accossato's DK203 disc is recorded for the RX too.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test documents for this pad are available to us, so it is offered for competition use.
