DescriptionThe whole story▼
Roost, clay and sand all end up on the rear brake of a motocross bike, and on a two-stroke that brake is worked hard. For the TM Racing MX 250 2T built from 2005 to 2025, Accossato offers the AGPP106 rear pad in STMX, its compound for off-road riders. It is intended for racers who line up on sandy circuits or in deep mud and need a rear brake that carries on regardless.
Key Features
- AGPP106 rear pad for the TM Racing MX 250 2T, 2005 to 2025
- STMX compound, SKU AGPP106STMX
- Made by Accossato for off-road riders
- Intended for sand, clay and dust
- For riders who use the rear brake heavily
- OR and ST are the alternatives
- Two pads per box
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes STMX in a single phrase, its compound for off-road riders, and publishes no further recipe; we do not invent one. The maker's general aims for its pads hold here: controlled heat to keep fade away, slow wear and plenty of stopping force. For a rear caliper that spends every moto in the dirt, those aims count.
What the Rear Brake Goes Through
Behind the swingarm pivot, the rear caliper of the MX 250 sits low and close to the tyre. Every lap throws mud, stones and sand at it. In sticky clay the pads can be surrounded by a layer of dirt; on sand the grains work their way between pad and disc. A two-stroke rider who uses the rear to slow down and steer asks the pad to keep working under those conditions for the full length of a moto. The Off-road sintered STMX version of AGPP106 is Accossato's option for exactly that job. On clean, dry tracks the OR pad is gentler, and ST covers wet but less dirty conditions.
The Monday After
Once the race weekend is over, take the time to clean the rear brake thoroughly. Remove the pads if they are packed with dirt, check the pistons and slide areas, and measure how much material remains. A pad replaced a little early is cheaper than a scored disc.
Fitment and Compatibility
For TM Racing's MX 250 two-stroke, Accossato gives AGPP106 as the rear pad for the years 2005 to 2025. At the front the bike uses AGPA29, listed from 2001. Bikes from before 2005 have no rear pad in this listing.
Road Approval
No ABE or other approval record for AGPP106STMX is in our possession. The pad is sold for motocross and enduro competition.
Scope of Delivery
Two STMX rear pads, one set for the MX 250 two-stroke.
